FirstMile’s claims service covers lost or damaged packages, reimbursing you for both the value of the goods and the cost of shipping. This applies across all delivery partners, offering peace of mind regardless of which network handled the shipment.

How do I file a package claim with FirstMile?

Claims are submitted through the FirstMile customer portal. You’ll need basic shipment info and confirmation that the package had at least one physical scan. Once submitted, our team reviews and processes the claim promptly.

When is a package eligible for a claim?

Domestic packages can be claimed after 7 days without a physical scan and no later than 75 days from the ship date. International claims require 45 days from the first scan and follow the same 75-day deadline.

Will I be reimbursed the full value of my shipment?

Most shipments include standard liability coverage: $50 for under 1 lb, $100 for over 1 lb. Additional coverage can be added in advance. Approved claims are reimbursed via credit memo applied to your invoice.
